Apostle Robert D. Reed

Senior Pastor and Founder of Pleasant Word Christian Center International in Atlanta, Georgia. Over 40 years of ministry experience gained as a minister, itinerant speaker in revivals, conferences, summits, bible colleges and other platforms to convey the message of Jesus.  The focus is to partner with God on a spiritual fishing expedition to reach millions of souls for the kingdom of God.

 

Apostle comes from 3 generations of Christian family members extending from parents to grandparents. He is a husband, father, mentor, and spiritual father to many sons and daughters.

 

Professionally, Apostle has a  background in business and law enforcement.  He retired early from a position as a municipal State Court Probation Officer and in the same year went on to be a reserve Sheriff Deputy.

                                                                                                He is a businessman and contractor of police services. He served in the United States Navy from 1998-2006 and received an Honorable discharge in 2006.  He holds an Associate of Biblical Studies, bachelor’s degree of both Practical and Pastoral Theology, a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors-Alpha Phi Sigma from the prestigious Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia, and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the International College of Bible Theology. 

 

He is the author of newly released, “Take Your Miracle Out of Captivity”.  It is God’s will to release miracles from captivity and display his supernatural power in the lives of believers.  In fact, it is one of the benefits of exercising faith in God’s infinite ability.

PASTOR OCEANETTE REED

Co-pastor of Pleasant Word Christian Center International. She is anointed to bind up the brokenhearted and proclaim liberty to the captive.

 

Co-pastor Reed is a prayer warrior and operates
in the gifts of the prophetic and healing. She is a Conference Speaker, Spiritual Counselor, a Motivational
Speaker for the Honorable Judge Janice Gordon’s APW Class (DeKalb County), Instructor of Spiritual
Warfare Strategies, has received the 2015 I AM Award honoring female entrepreneurs, and has
appeared on TV 57 Atlanta Live.
 

Her passion is prayer, mentoring and encouraging young women. She is the founder of Wailing Women
International, Women of Distinction, and Healing What Is Hidden.
 

Oceanette Reed is a graduate of Georgia State University with degrees in both Psychology and Sociology; she is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. She is married to the Honorable Apostle Robert Reed and mother of three and a spiritual mother to many.  First Lady Reed enjoys partnering with her husband in ministry and serving the people of God.

To bring people from a salvation experience to an intimate relationship with God, to celebrate the love of Jesus Christ and glorify the Lord by striving to live as Christ lived, experiencing the power of God's healing in our lives, while enthusiastically reaching out to others with compassion, respect and love for everyone so that we all may grow in faith and commitment together.
